In the City
I have always loved cities. Having worked worked in both Philadelphia and New York, I aways loved that rush you would get coming out of a subway station. Since moving back to NC, I have missed a skyline so I created my own. This is my most recent piece and was created during a time when I can’t go back to NYC. I needed to work with a lot of color and chose a vintage florals and bold patterns. This is a whimsical interpretation but it can certainly be made with a more realistic palette.
Finished dimensions 23” x 29” with street or 23” x 25” without the street. Framing not included.
